what-lies     The coming year promises to be a very exciting one for EuroTimes, official news magazine of the ESCRS. While our main focus continues to be on cataract and refractive surgery, we will also have extensive coverage of the other major specialties - retina, cornea, glaucoma and paediatric ophthalmology. MEETING SCHEDULE As always, we will be bringing you the latest news and views from major international conferences, including the 21st ESCRS Winter Meeting in Maastricht, The Netherlands, the ASCRS•ASOA Symposium & Congress in Los Angeles, USA, the European Society of Ophthalmology meeting in Barcelona, Spain, the 17th EURETINA Congress in Barcelona, the 8th EuCornea Congress in Lisbon, Portugal and the XXXV Congress of the ESCRS in Lisbon. Our schedule will also include the annual AAO 2017 meeting in New Orleans, USA and  the 4th WCPOS in Hyderabad, India. NEW FEATURES In 2016,EuroTimes won the Magazines Ireland award for the Business To Business Magazine of the Year (over 5,000 circulation) for the second year in a row. The judges said the magazine demonstrated commercial credibility and integrity coupled with great ambition and growth. This year we plan to build on this success with some exciting new features, both online, on our website at www.eurotimes.org and in our social media portfolio including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
