Team ESCRS celebrated a strong finish at the ASCRS Cataract Surgery Olympics held during the ASCRS/ASOA Congress in Washington DC, USA.  Pictured from left to right are Team Captain Beatrice Cochener MD, PhD representing France, Sathish Srinivasan MD from the UK, H Burkhard Dick MD, PhD for Germany, and Ehyd Assia MD from Israel. In a closely fought competition,  the gold  medal went to Team ASCRS for the second straight year despite valiant competition from Team ESCRS.
