PUBLICATION Vitreoretinal Disease: Diagnosis, Management & Clinical Pearls EDITORS Ingrid U Scott, Carl D Regillo, Harry W Flynn, Jr, Gary C Brown PUBLISHED BY Thieme Vitreoretinal Disease: Diagnosis, Management & Clinical Pearls is another comprehensive textbook, covering every major topic of the posterior segment. Each of the 40 chapters covers one pathologic entity: super-common ones like AMD; less common ones like sickle cell retinopathy; and interestingly named subsets like hyaloideoretinopathies. Up-to-date information on imaging, classification and treatment modalities make this book worthwhile, as do the interspersed “pearls,” “controversial points” and “special considerations.” This book is perfect for retina fellows. General ophthalmologists who would like an update knowledge could greatly benefit as well. It can also be useful for technical and nursing staff when a particularly unusual case is encountered.
