Rhein Medical announces new manipulator for Malyugin Ring
Rhein Medical has announced a new manipulator for the Malyugin Ring.
The new Steinert Malyugin Ring Manipulator (Product # 8-04413) has been developed in coordination with Roger F Steinert, MD.
The manipulator is designed to facilitate the placement of all four loops of the Malyugin ring at the beginning of the case, and to remove the loops from the pupil at the conclusion.
The size and shape of the extension tip and the breadth of the arm allow manipulations in all necessary directions, so that one instrument is able to manoeuvre the ring in all necessary directions.
The Malyugin ring loops can also be easily shifted in all directions in the plane of the iris as well as elevated or depressed.
Rhein Medical says the manipulator, made in the US, is reusable, autoclaveable, guaranteed for life and available for a 30-day surgical evaluation without obligation.
