Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the ESCRS has decided that for the safety of its members, delegates, industry partners and staff, it will not be possible to hold the 38th Congress of the ESCRS as a live event in Amsterdam in October.
The society will now hold a major online meeting from Friday 2 to Sunday 4 October, 2020.
“We are delighted to be offering an exciting and meaningful alternative which will offer ways to participate in an interactive environment,” said Prof. dr Rudy MMA Nuijts President, ESCRS.
“ Our congress attracts delegates from over 120 countries worldwide and it is our hope that a virtual meeting will continue to offer a truly international experience in an unprecedented format for all participants, keeping up the high ESCRS scientific standards,” said Prof Nuijts.
Further details about the virtual meeting will be announced in early July. Regular updates will be available on the ESCRS website at www.escrs.org and in the society’s weekly COVID-19 at www.eurotimes.org
