The ESCRS/WSPOS Symposium “Paediatric Intraocular Implants – Where Are We Now” will take place on Friday 2 October from 17.30 – 19.30 CET.

Delegates can actively participate throughout the session with dynamic question and answer and polling facilities. Each symposium is immediately followed by an interactive and lively 30-minute discussion. A panel of topic experts will discuss the questions that come in from the audience via the chat room and polling results.

The symposium will be chaired by Ken Nischal USA/UK (WSPOS) and Marie-José Tassignon Belgium (ESCRS).

Among the topics that will be discussed are “What can we take from the IATS Study?”, “Are IOLs protective against glaucoma in children?”, “Secondary IOLs: technique and timing” and “The learning curve with the BIL”.

The symposium concludes with presentations on “Using the iris clip lens in children” and “Use of multifocal IOLs in children.”
